HR, accounting, sales and projects each publish their own metrics. The director opens the management board and sees the whole company, while a department head opening the same board sees only their department. Nobody collects spreadsheets from every team at month end.
The head of sales and the director open the same HR board. The head of sales sees their department and the units below it, the director sees the whole company. That scope follows the person on the board, in questions asked in words, in scheduled digests and in Excel exports.
The HR head builds a Turnover rate metric by picking leavers divided by average headcount. It can then be cut by department, compared with last year and used anywhere a built-in metric can. Admins can also install ready-made boards for the director, chief accountant, HR, sales and project heads.
In a meeting the director clicks the Hanoi branch on one chart and the whole board filters to Hanoi. Clicking August lists the contracts behind that number, and clicking a contract opens it in its own module. Boards also run full-screen for the meeting room.
Type a question such as turnover in Sales this quarter versus the same quarter last year and get a chart plus a line stating the metric, scope and period used. If no metric covers the question, it says so. Follow a metric to receive a scheduled digest by email or phone notification, and an alert when it crosses a threshold.
